From San Marco we depart for Murano - passing the Public Gardens, S. Elena Island and the Lido famous for its beaches and its cinema festival, we reach Murano island known for its glasses manufacturing factories. The stop is about 1 h including one demonstration. The second stop is on the fishermen’s island Burano famous for the lace and the coloured houses. The stop is about 2 hours. Third and final island is Torcello, the first centre of civilization in the estuary. The byzantine mosaic is interesting. The stop is about 1 h. Return to Venice San Marco at 17:35 cca.
